Leadership and business principles are very important topics in our rapidly growing society. Several students in the Alcorn School District are doing their part to learn about these things and apply them in their local school.
The local chapters of the Future Business Leaders of America at ACHS, ACMS, KHS, and KMS came together this past Tuesday for a session at Mississippi State University. They attended the 2023 MS State Fall Leadership Conference for FBLA.
Students learned about the MSU College of Business, heard from CEO of TJ's Animation about following your dreams and the road to success, interacted with former FBLA State Secretary Tanner Marlar, participated in skits presented by the current state officer team, and engaged in a communication and marketing activity where each school chapter was given a random product and asked to develop a commercial for it.
The Alcorn School District is proud to have three FBLA state officers.
