Brandon Quinn was sworn in as Interim Superintendent of the Alcorn School District during the regularly scheduled January board meeting. He is seen in the picture with ASD Board Attorney Arch Bullard taking the oath of office for the position he has been selected to hold through June 30, 2021.
Mr. Quinn joins the staff at the district office after serving as Principal of Alcorn Central High School for the past six and half years. Prior to his tenure as principal, he served as assistant principal and was earlier a teacher and coach. Altogether, he brings with him 17 years of serving students and families inside the Alcorn School District.
Quinn is a graduate of Alcorn Central High School and the University of Mississippi. He received his Masters of Educational Leadership from The University of Scranton and most recently completed his Educational Specialist from William Carey University. Throughout the course of his career, he has been involved with many local, state, and national organizations focused on community development and school leadership.
We are very excited to have Mr. Quinn as Interim Superintendent. He brings with him a passion for the students, faculty, staff, and community of Alcorn county. His willingness to serve and dedication to pursue excellence will help Alcorn county schools achieve success in many ways.
