Drawing inspiration from iconic artists like Jackson Pollock, Chuck Arnoldi, and Andy Warhol, the young artists produced a variety of patriotic works, including ripped paper montages of eagles and flags.

Utilizing an array of media such as acrylics, colored pencils, crayons, oil pastels, watercolor, and natural materials, students engaged in projects inspired by Pollock’s drip paintings, and in an ode to Arnoldi, the students created collages where they arranged items collected from the outdoors. These artworks not only celebrate their creativity but also pay homage to the values of teamwork and collaboration, as students worked together to bring their visions to life.

The students were particularly excited to showcase their drawings of patriotic symbols, especially eagles, as they honed their artistic skills. Their enthusiasm culminated in a gallery display where they eagerly shared their creative efforts with classmates and teachers.

This art initiative served as a meaningful way to express gratitude for veterans, highlighting the power of art to unite and inspire young minds. The dedication and teamwork displayed throughout the project are commendable, making it a fitting celebration of Veterans Day.
