I want to introduce some of our newest staff members here at ACES. Meet Allison Wilbanks.
Hi, I’m Allison Wilbanks. I am a graduate of the Alcorn Central High School class of 2015. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from UNA and am currently going through their Master’s in Elementary Education program. This will be my second year teaching. I taught Third Grade at Riverhill School in Florence, AL last year. Over the summer, I moved back “home” to Alcorn Central and will be teaching First Grade. I am looking forward to this amazing school year! Go Bears!

Hi my name is Alex Taylor, and this will be my first year teaching! I graduated from the University of Mississippi and did my student teaching last year in 2nd grade reading/math. This year I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade reading at Alcorn Central Elementary School with such an amazing team.

Meet Brooke Marlar.
My name is Brooke Marlar. This will be my 14th year teaching. I taught 3rd grade ELA for 11 years at Saltillo Elementary and 3rd Grade for 2 years at Corinth Elementary. My husband, Brad, and I have three daughters: Maddi, Rylee, and Aubrey. This year I am privileged to teach 2nd grade math and science! I am super excited about joining the Alcorn School District family.
This is National Assistant Principals Week, and we want to say a big thank you to our three FABULOUS Assistant Principals! We are so appreciative of the things each of you do in order to keep our students learning, teachers teaching, and school running. You each show your dedication and passion for our school each and every day. For that, we thank you!
