ACES is excited about our Fall Festival this year! Due to other events taking place on campus that evening, the time has been bumped up a little.
Hey, all you Cool Cats! Can you dig it? Friday is the 50th day of school! We apologize for the short notice. However, we'd love for all of our dolls and guys to dress up for the 50s (GRADES K-4). However, PRE-K will still dress up for the LETTER P- PAJAMAS AND POPCORN DAY.
Monday is National Custodian Day! We will be out of school that day, so we want to shout them out today. Our custodians do an outstanding job taking care of the school. But, they also take care of the students and staff in so many different ways. We appreciate them and are thankful for them. Thank you to Mrs. Darcey, Mrs. Peggy, and Mr Chism!
Today is National Assistant Day! We have some great ones here at ACES!
They serve our students and school in pre-k, kindergarten, special education, CS4MS/computer class, ISD, and in the office. Thank you Mrs. Alicia, Mrs. Mary, Mr. Terry, Mrs. Brandy, Mrs. Deanna, Mrs. Jeannie, Mrs. Brooke, Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Heather S, Mrs. Becky Wiginton, Mrs. Samantha, Mrs. Donnie, and Mrs. Heather H. We appreciate everything you do!
School Picture Day is Tuesday, Sept. 12. Information flyers will go home today, and payment envelopes will go home the day before pictures. Please wait until then to send your money.
Y'all! Check out this BEARY Good Thing! The very first ACES Welcome Wagon literally rolled out last Friday. Our Quest classes have formed a Welcome Committee to welcome new students as they join our ACES family. Each month, students that have moved to ACES that month will be welcomed by a student on the committee and receive a bag full of goodies, such as a PAWSome bracelet, gummy bears, and a handmade card. The first Welcome Wagon of the year also visited our new 2023-24 staff members. The students were so excited to hear about some great things to look forward to this year, and our committee members exhibited excellent leadership skills. We are AC! #CKH

ACES Message: Attendance is crucial in the elementary grade levels. Each day that a child is late for or misses school, they are missing vital instructional time on skills that they need to know. We urge all of our parents to ensure that their child is present and on time daily so that we can capture their heart, capture their mind, and grow them intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
ACES Message: Parents of car riders, please ensure that the ACES car rider line leaves ample room for our buses to make it safely to their appropriate unloading locations in the mornings. While the line isn't moving, the ACES car rider line should not go past the edge of the bleachers. This will allow the required spacing for buses to safely pass through. The safety of our students, staff, and community is always our top priority and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a wonderful evening!
