Aidan Anderson, a senior at Alcorn Central High School and a second-year student in ACTC’s Business, Marketing, and Finance Program, has been recognized as one of Mississippi’s Christian Leaders of the Future. This prestigious scholarship, awarded by Mississippi Christian Living Magazine in partnership with Belhaven University, honors two high school seniors—one boy and one girl—each year for their outstanding servant hearts and Christian character.
Aidan was selected from a competitive pool of 200 applicants across the state and was featured on the cover of the March 2025 issue of Mississippi Christian Living Magazine. He was also recognized at an awards ceremony at Belhaven University, where his achievements and dedication to his faith were celebrated.
Beyond his academic success, Aidan serves as the Vice President of ACTC’s National Technical Honor Society and is an active member of Salem Christian Church. He is the son of John and Ashley Anderson and is known for his strong leadership, integrity, and commitment to his community.
In his finalist application essay, Aidan shared a powerful testimony of his personal faith journey:
"It started small — a stirring in my heart during a worship service, a sermon that seemed directed at me, and a growing sense of God’s presence …. I found myself praying more earnestly, wanting to experience the love and grace I had heard so much about. Then, one evening …. I was sitting in quiet reflection, and suddenly, everything clicked. The Gospel was not just a story I had grown up hearing — it was my story, too. I felt a deep conviction and an overwhelming peace …. It was as if Jesus Himself was reaching out, inviting me to truly know Him for the first time. I prayed, asking Him to take over my life completely."
Aidan’s recognition as a Christian Leader of the Future is a testament to his faith, character, and dedication to serving others. His leadership and passion for making a difference continue to inspire those around him, and we look forward to seeing the impact he will make in the years to come.
Congratulations, Aidan, on this well-deserved honor!
