As part of Career and Technical Education Month, last week all of the county high schools' ninth grade students were invited to tour the Career and Technology Center. Students were divided into small groups and assigned two career delegate representatives. These delegates took the groups on a tour that allowed them to see the twelve programs offered at the center. Students spent time in each program as the instructors and students enrolled in the program gave information and demonstrations that highlighted some of what potential students could expect to learn should they choose to register for that class in the upcoming year. After the tours, the ninth graders were asked to complete interest surveys to help instructors at the center gather data to plan for upcoming classes.
