Mr. Daniel Derrick's Ag Natural students spent the day transforming the area around our school sign after their previous landscaping lesson. Students put out fresh mulch and also replanted all the flower pots around campus. Out with the wood, in with the stone.

ACTC students in Mr. Jesse Potts' Industrial Maintenance class enjoyed learning about harness safety. For part of their performance test, students get to properly fit a safety harness, hardhat, and safety glasses and see what it feels like to hang while wearing the personal fall arrest system. Hands on learning happening at ACTC!

Since then, federal CTE policy has evolved in response to changing U.S. economic and social conditions. Follow along as we highlight major legislation and other activities throughout more than 100 years.

This week is National School Counseling Week 2023. We would like to take this opportunity to highlight our school counselor Mrs. Chanta Smothers. She has a tremendous impact on helping our students achieve school success and plan for a career. Every student deserves a school counselor and we are so thankful, this week and every week, for our very own Chanta Smothers. #NSCW23
