Today, the first grade had the privilege of hosting esteemed Officers and Sergeant from the Corinth Police Department. These officers engaged in a captivating reading session, introducing the children to the delightful book titled "Officer Buckle and Gloria." This interactive experience was further enriched by discussions centered around safety, fostering a sense of security and awareness among the young minds.
The students were provided with an exceptional opportunity to explore a patrol vehicle, gaining insights into its functionalities and significance. Additionally, they had the thrilling chance to try on specialized equipment, igniting their curiosity and imagination. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the introduction of Denzel, a remarkable K-9 unit. Denzel showcased his exceptional skills by successfully locating an item cleverly hidden by one of the students.
