Students from KMS recently showcased their skills and dedication at the Jr. Beta State Competition in Biloxi, where they competed in a wide variety of talent-related and academic events. The students representing KMS were Blake Chism, Ava Wilkinson, Avery Rencher, Layla Hardin, and Marlee Beckham. Each of them demonstrated hard work, determination, and excellence in their respective categories.
A special recognition goes to Ava Wilkinson, who placed in the top five in her event. Her outstanding performance has earned her a coveted spot at the National Jr. Beta Competition, where she will compete against some of the best students from across the country this summer.
The Jr. Beta Club encourages academic achievement, leadership, and service, and these students have embodied those values through their participation in the competition. Their dedication and success are a testament to the strong academic and extracurricular programs at KMS.
The school and community are incredibly proud of their achievements and wish Ava the best of luck as she prepares for nationals.
