It was a mysterious day at Alcorn Central High School on Wednesday, November 20. A crime was committed in Mrs. Arnold’s room sometime Tuesday afternoon or early Wednesday morning.
This week is Law and Public Safety week in the 9th Grade Keystone classes. This unit is used to expose students to the careers and duties in the field of Law and Public Safety. The learning project this week was a fun one. The students set out on a adventure to find the culprit behind the Golden Bear Mystery.
They went around interviewing and interrogating all their potential suspects. Was it a teacher? Was it an office staff worker? Could it be a student? Did they have help? These were the questions that were troubling these freshmen students.
After a long day of investigation, they will finally find justice today because the suspect has been brought in for sentencing!
The students enjoy enacting in different class projects weekly in order to better understand all the opportunities out there. This is just one of many fun projects that students have participated in this semester.
