Today, Mr. Gwatney’s U.S. History students stepped back in time to the 1930s, facing the challenges of the Great Depression in an interactive escape room activity. Teams worked together to answer historical questions, decode secret lock codes, and solve puzzles that transported them to key moments from the era. Their mission? To escape the economic hardships of the time.
Students had to use their critical thinking skills, historical knowledge, and teamwork to unlock clues and make their way through the challenges. By solving the puzzles, they gained a deeper understanding of how Americans navigated through one of the toughest periods in our nation’s history.
