The Coronavirus Pandemic has brought about a great deal of change to our schools and community. Despite the hard times and difficult restrictions, our ACHS Golden Voices Choir have stayed very active.
The Golden Voices have already started preparing for this year's competition season. Although the competition process may be a little different this year, the hard work for competition has still continued. Ms. Tina was able to send this video below to the Ole Miss Choral Festival for reviewal. According to Ms. Tina, "Judges were very complimentary, encouraging, and helpful as we prepare for the State Performance Assessment this semester."
Before students and teachers left for the holidays back in December, the Golden Voices put on quite a performance during their Holiday Concert 2020. In the video below, you can see a great rendition of the fun Christmas Classic "Jingle Bells."
With the new year upon us, Golden Voices Director Tina Downs thought it would be a good idea to promote some positivity in our community and for our school. In response to her idea, the Golden Voices banded together and joined forces with ACHS Senior DMT student Zakary Roach to film a music video that would do just that. Our very talented students can be seen below performing a very moving song in different locations across our school campus asking for an outpouring of blessings at AC during such a troubling time.
