Mr. Derrick's Ag Mechanics class has been hard at work this year. There have been a multitude of projects they have been working on since the start of school.
Students have been able to learn measuring, planning, and design skills while re-finishing the wood flooring of a pull behind cattle trailer. During this project, active students were able to learn skills in woodworking, welding, and operation of power tools such as a compound miter saw.
Other projects this year include making repairs to an air compressor, a pressure washer, and a leaf blower. In addition to fixing these small engines, students also constructed a cross for a valued member of the community.
It is great to see our classes in action! We thank Mr. Derrick for instilling a hard work ethic and teaching these students such useful skills that can follow them into the future!
