On Thursday and Friday, Mrs. Smith’s senior English students gave demonstration speeches to the class. This project helped students speak in front of a crowd, make eye contact, and clearly give instructions to others.
The students enjoyed teaching their classmates a range of topics such as teaching a dog tricks, powerlifting, decorating cupcakes, changing a diaper, and measuring a customer for a tux. The students also learned all about a quinceanera ceremony and traditions.
We love to see our students get involved and engaged in activities that promote learning and activity. This is another example of #learninginaction!
