The ACHS Girls Track team is still enjoying the sweet victory of championship after their Class 3A MHSAA Girls Track Championship back in May of 2022. That high is only growing for Coach Samuel Holley.
The Mississippi High School Activity Associations just released a statement congratulating coaches from all across the state for being named the best in their craft. Holley was grateful and honored to find his name on that list. In a public statement Holley said, “Blessed to say it’s a huge honor to receive this! This recognition goes beyond me. Without the awesome kids & the support, this wouldn’t be heard of. I am very fortunate to work with a tremendous team & school!”
Congratulations to Coach Holley for being named the MHSAA Girls Track 2022 Coach of the Year. Alcorn Central is proud of the work the team put in this past season and looks forward to the continued success of the ACHS Track & Field team.
