The KHS Aggie and Lady Aggie Cross Country Teams took both first place finishes at the Division 1-3A Meet at Booneville. For the Aggies, Jes Patrick took first place with a time of 19:02, while Samuel Hopper closely followed in third place with with a time of 19:27. Rounding out the top five finishers were Peyton Lathrop, George Wilbanks, and Cooper Glidewell with times of approximately twenty minutes. Will McCormack and Eli Hinton followed closely for the sixth and seventh spots.
For the Lady Aggies, Meeks twins Katie and Ava took the first and second place spots, with times of 21:12 and 21:34 respectively. Lauren Green, Eva Null, and Ashlee Newman finished out the top five positions. Coming in sixth place was MaKenzie Hastings.
The top seven runners from each team will go on to compete at the State Level on October 31 at Choctaw Trails. Congratulations, Aggies! We are so proud of you!
